Cristiano Melli
A composer and dramaturgist working at the intersection of music theatre and the spoken word. Marked by structural clarity and lyrical tension, his work has been performed across Europe and South America, in collaboration with some of the leading ensembles and festivals of contemporary music. As dramaturgist, he has worked on award-winning productions such as Stockhausen's Aus LICHT in Amsterdam, Lohengrin in Malmö and L'Olimpiade in Stockholm.

Performances
Cristiano Melli's lecture-concert Richard Wagner, Dom Pedro II and a Tropical Tristan und Isolde unveiled the unlikely cultural dialogue between Wagner and Brazilian Emperor Dom Pedro II. A little-known chapter in the history of European and Brazilian exchange. Acclaimed Bulgarian pianist Ivan Pavlov performed works by Wagner, Villa-Lobos, and Wagner–Liszt.
